• UpCoat Pros adheres to OSHA's regulations under 29 CFR 1910.27(b), ensuring the safety and reliability of our rope descent systems (RDS). 

• Building owners must ensure that each anchorage used for RDS is capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds per attached worker in any direction.​
• These anchorages must be identified, tested, and certified by a qualified person.​ 
• Annual inspections are required, with recertification at least every 10 years or as necessary.

• Employers must obtain written assurance from building owners confirming that the anchorages meet OSHA's requirements before allowing employees to use them.​
• This documentation must be retained for the duration of the job.

• Employees using RDS must receive training in accordance with OSHA standards, covering proper use, hazard recognition, and emergency procedures. 

• RDS components (excluding seatboards) must be capable of sustaining a minimum rated load of 5,000 pounds.
• Seatboards must support a live load of 300 pounds.​
• RDS use is generally limited to heights of 300 feet above grade unless other methods are not feasible or pose greater hazards.

• SPRAT Certification: All our technicians hold certifications from the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT), ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge for safe and effective rope access work.​
   
• Level III Supervisors: Our supervisors have achieved SPRAT Level III certification, qualifying them to design rigging systems, oversee site safety, and conduct rescue operations. This level requires a minimum of 500 documented rope access hours and at least six months of experience as a Level II technician.​
   
• Level II Technicians: Our experienced Level II technicians are proficient in complex access systems, anchor installations, and executing tasks in challenging environments.​
   
• OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Safety Training: Each team member has completed OSHA's Outreach Training Program, providing them with essential knowledge about workplace safety and health hazards in the construction industry.​
   
• Fall Protection Training: Our crew undergoes training that aligns with the ANSI Z359.1 standards, focusing on the proper use, maintenance, and inspection of fall protection systems.​
   
• CPR / BLS Certification: Team members are certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS), equipping them to respond effectively to medical emergencies.​
   
• In-House Emergency Response & Rigging Training: We conduct monthly mock drills to ensure our team remains prepared for any on-site emergencies, reinforcing their skills in emergency response and rigging techniques.​
